International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being
International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being
简 介:Aims: International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being (QHW) is an Open Access peer reviewed scientific journal that acknowledges the international and interdisciplinary nature of health-related issues. QHW aims to provide a forum for the exchange of data, knowledge, theoretical framework and methods on health and well-being, aiming to further the development and understanding of qualitative research by using rigorous qualitative methodology of significance for issues related to human health and well-being. The journal’s focus is on empirical research, and we accept papers with both a national and/or international focus. We also welcome papers with a methodological focus and papers focusing on philosophical issues related to qualitative research in the health area. Scope: QHW welcomes original research articles, review articles and short communications on qualitative research in relation to health and well-being as long as the articles meet high academic and ethical standards. We encourage qualitative researchers from a wide range of professional groups - and from anywhere in the world – to submit their work to QHW. All papers will be subjected to rigorous and fair peer review. QHW publishes research articles within a variety of qualitative research approaches, qualitatively-driven mixed-method designs, methodological development, meta-analyses, and articles focusing on theoretical and philosophical issues related to qualitative research and health and well-being. For a research paper to be accepted for publication in QHW it must be written in a clear and concise manner, discuss findings in relation to existing literature, and use appropriate methodology for qualitative research.
